Congrats to the Cardiac Cards! It's not pretty, but 1-0 in district is a lot better than the alternative. :)

One very questionable call went for HJ but it was an entertaining game otherwise. As usual relied heavily on J. Dish. Stringer didn't look sharp at all. GREAT catch by Troy Bolton.

I don't see the Cardinals doing anything this year. We are 3-1 but a very weak 3-1. If the giveaways stay at this rate the district will run us over like a train. We have got to start hanging onto the ball. We were lucky to get out of this one. Not to knock HJ but I saw them as the weakest team in the district. If you are struggling with them then your flat not going to compete with the Jasper's, WOS's, and Silsbee's out there. The rubber will meet the road next week when we face a quality team in Silsbee. However, the jury is out right now.

I don't believe that H-J is the weakest team in our district, at all. Hanging w/ East Chambers proved that last week. Going by Records, i'd have to say Jasper, but Jasper is one of those teams who on any given week can just "explode" into the team that they are supposed to be, and just keep on rolling.

I don't think Jasper is stellar this year but I do think they will be competive. Like I say I really think this next week will tell what Bridge City is bringing to the district. I see all the teams pretty close in the district this year. WOS is the lone gun up top but I don't think they are as strong as in years past. It wouldn't surprise me this year if someone beats any one of these team's during the district run.

As a fan who has watched every game this year, I'd say WO-S is stronger than last year overall.
