Finally just called the radio stations. For some reason the Monahans station is not carrying it tonight. Thus the lack of score info.
Graham station said it was Mon 7, Graham 6 starting the 4th. Close game!

this is a good one...
4th and 1 Graham makes a 1st down 1st down and 10 on the lobo 34 5:41 left
graham runs left and gets another 1st down to the 22
3rd and 2 graham calls a TO 4:20 left
hit at the line, 4th and 1 on the 13
Steers call another time out....talking if they are going to go for it, or kick the FG
Steers run right, off the tackle to the 9 yard line, first and goal steers
Steers run left, 2nd and goal on the 3 with 3 mins left
Steers run up the middle, for a TD. They go for 2 and make it. Steers 14 Lobos 7 2:08 remaining

thanks for the updates. That lead is probably safe. Monahans can't throw much. So barring a long run, it will be tough for them to drive that fast. Doesn't sound like they had much success running it tonight anyway.
Lobos ball on 20 yardline, 1st and 10.....first play they throw the ball and almost got it picked off
2nd down they having a holding call.....1:46 left 3rd and 15. Lobos run a screen and get down to the 47 yardline 1:33 left
Lobos throw another pass down to the 40 yardline...late hit graham 15 yarder lobos on the graham 23

Lobos fumble ball and are backed up to the 40 yardline, 3rd and 27 with 38 secs left
Steers pressure the qb, throws the ball away.....4th down....32 secs left
Lobos throw a int, Graham runs it back and fumbles the ball. reffs talking
Grahams ball......steers take a knee...game over

Wow. I am shocked!!! I thought Monahans would run away in this game. What happened to Monahans' running game?
I picked Monahans in a close one, but good job Steers. I think this is what they needed to start off district here soon.

THIS was a great game Graham did a good job of keeping Monahans off the Field offensively, but they did a good job of
not giving up the big play and the secondary tackled great tonight for Graham. Monahans had its opportunities to win it late, leading by one droped two oskies that could of sealed the game but graham running game late was the diffrence they grinded the clock down Coach McCoy game plan in the fourth worked great Graham got a hard earned well deserved victory. Roberson ran hard and well Loboes got it down the grham 15 then 3 flags forced them in to 3rd and 4rh and about 30's got them of sink.
I do believe both teams got better and will get better after this one. Congradulations to Graham.
