Mets? Dodgers? Padres?

I don't think any would sweep the Astros.

The Mets will be without Pedro Martinez for the rest of the season. If the Stros get there, they can definitely do some damage.

Only one close is the '64 Phillies, who were overtaken by the Cardinals. Now that's ironic huh? If it ends up happening though this one would beat it based on time frame & games made up in that span.

Still have work to do & get help too. Braves always scare me even in a down year, esp. Smoltz on Sunday. In the event of a tie, Roy O would pitch Tuesday. And Carpenter pitches Sunday for the Cards, so he's out. And Cards have to play SF Monday if necessary. Here we go...

Only way Astros or Cards play Mets in 1st round is if Phillies get the Wild Card. Unlikely w/ Phillies 2 games out now. Divisional opponents cannot play in 1st round by rule.

Looks like:
Astros/Cards vs. Padres
Mets vs. Dodgers
