SHSU - 3 see if they can hang 50 plus on rice and north texas, i don't understand why they would only score 48 against the bearkats

Two FG's.

And I only see 48 points because Mack knows what the media has been saying about SHSU having no shot. He won't run up the score. But if they score over 50+, I wouldn't be surprised.

Also, this will be a game where basically the backups and 3rd stringers will be in. I don't anticipate them scoring a lot.

Are you just being nice to SHSU? The score should be a lot worse than that.

It is easy to forecast folks. Texas gets its points, and Sam...

well,

SHSU $250,000, Texas 63 :D :D

all for a less than a 200 mile ride on a bus. pretty good payday if you can get it! :)

Go Sam!!!

Even Auburn didn't get into the 50's with Buffalo. I believe they only scored 40 something points. Could be wrong though.

yep..but can u blame them? If Texas does not play OSU they are still number 2...I love seeing top 5 teams play, but I honestly cannot fault a school for NOT playing top programs...a win and it is great..a loss and your uphill rest of way

Good going Mack Brown play a team you can beat by 80 or more points, that will move you up in the rankings!!!!

Sounds like you aren't a Longhorn fan FBB. Actually, winning by 80 won't help Texas in the rankings, but playing this team definately hurts their strength of schedule.

The SOS factor of the BCS is not as big of a deal as it once was, so while this game does not help..it really will not hurt

Not a bad score at all for my Bearkats! Just received my Hertiage mailer today from SHSU with a somewhat preview of both the SMU and Texas game.
