Please remember that we do not actively monitor the contents of posted messages and are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this BB or any entity associated with this BB. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. The Policy:
Keep the ‘bad’ language to a minimum. If we find the language VERY offensive we will ask you to edit your post or it will be done by us ourselves (whichever you prefer).
Attacks on people must be limited to an anonymous basis. We will not allow one’s personal information (sexual, drinking problems etc…) to be publicly announced unless the permission is given from that person. This also includes the falsification of information about those persons (i.e. rumors etc…) that can lead to the losing of their jobs/positions that support themselves and/or their families. There are times where the situations that were just mentioned are allowed, but if it gets too out of hand you will be warned. Racial attacks and slurs will also not be tolerated. The post will have to be edited or deleted.
WARNING: Administrators/Monitors CAN TALK TRASH. We have the same freedom as you guys and the same restrictions as you guys. And don’t be afraid, you CAN talk trash to us, to an extent. You will not be banned for talking trash to us without a warning or two. But in most cases it will not happen. We are as fair as we can be here.
Warnings and Bannings. Warnings will be given out on the board itself. In most cases you will be given a warning, and if you break the policy in the same way that you have before you will be banned. If you don’t like it, your only choice is to email us about it and we’ll do the deciding on whether you are to be allowed back on or not.
