Rice DB Lloyd dies after collapsing during workout

Rice defensive back Dale Lloyd died Monday after collapsing during a workout Sunday.

The cause of death for the 19-year-old freshman has not been determined. Lloyd, who played in Rice's opener against Houston, was a member of coach Todd Graham's first recruiting class.

The school has scheduled an afternoon news conference to release more

Most of the time you have a small workout/treatment the day after you play to work out soreness and tight muscles.

Most college teams do practice on Sunday.
