I agree...

Bellville, Marlin, Sealy, Fairfield, Liberty, LG, Elgin, and many others that I'm sure I'm leaving out.

Can't wait, should be fun.

Mexia is returning some good starters from last year and I expect some guys from the JV to step up and bring home another District Championship!!!

You can count on Region III to always be a competitive and talented region. Maybe this year we can grab a state title.

I look for Liberty to beat Bellville in Division II this year. If you look at Bridge City, they were at least a 3 TD better team than Bellville last year. Here's why, Elgin beat Bellville and BC walked all over Elgin. Likewise, Liberty gave Bellville all they wanted, and yet, BC could have beaten Liberty by 30 points had they not played everyone on the bench some. Liberty will prevail against Bellville in Div II.

Old Card, I think if Liberty and BC had played later in the year the game might have been tighter. BC still comes out on top but, toward the end of the season, Liberty's run defense was awful stingy! Do you guys play again this year?

Yes FBmania, I would think that Liberty finally might have a shot at beating Bridge City. We are talented but replacing a whole backfield except for Michael Gauthier who played sparingly. By mid-season, I know we could take them, as always.

The road to the Region III championship will go through Newton.

By mid-season, I know we could take them, as always.I'm not sure that they could beat you guys. I don't know who they have back this year. This will be a rebuilding year for BH as well. We have some unknowns but, we do have some promising young players coming up. I do believe we will be right in the thick of the district race, just maybe not quite as dominant as in recent years.

The road to the Region III championship will go through Newton.St. Ivender I'm a Houstonian, but I now reside in Marlin so I think the Bulldogs are ready to travel that Newton road for the 4th time.

St. Ivender the same thing was said 2 yrs. ago and Giddings beat Newton in a hard fought game. Don't be too cocky before the season starts, or when it starts, or after its over. ANybody can beat anybody.
