that is what is wrong with these kids today.

a fantastic hit was erased by two acts of piss poor sportsmanship.

if i were the coach of that team, both of those kids would be running laps for a week.

I agree, kids need to learn some sportsmanship. And just think, that was about 15 years ago, so it has onlty gotton worse.

I do blame the parents. Both of these kids evidently have piss poor ones.

After further review, it's more of a lucky hit, than a fantastic one. Right place right time. No excuse for number 3's reaction. No reason for 44 to stand over like that.

This is really lousy.

I hate rude behaviour in a man. And I can't stand it in kids either.

Back in those days, the celebrations came pretty regularly. They have as many undefeated seasons over the past 12 years (for that matter, the past 30+ years) as the Longhorns.

I don't call that celebration. I call it acting like a stupid idiot.

Wait, what you you have done in that situation? Number 3 of course was wrong, but what would you have done if you would have laid the hit?

when you play football, you arent mr. nice guy, you literally wanna kill the guy across from you. look at all the best players, ditka, ray lewis, knitscke(not sure how its spelled), LT, they all wanna kill the guy with the ball. thats how you play, you just dont rub it in.

In football you are either the hammer or the nail and I damn sure don't want to be a nail. Ray Lewis.

You can kill the guy, and then help him up. It's called playing with class.

When you do that you get the respect of the people that count.

Who cares about the respect of thugs?

When you get older you will understand.

No, I understand perfectly right now. you walk back to the huddle and get ready for the next play. if he helps him up then good for him, but if he doesnt, hes not playin without class. when he rubs it in his face that is playin without class.

When you get older you will understand. So am I considered a thug for not helping a foe up? I've never helped anyone up after I hit them. I just simply tell him that he has no skill and go back to the huddle.

what #3 did was wrong, but the guy who laid the hit looked at him, and then walked back to the huddle. all business, and he acted like it wasnt the first time he ever hit somebody. that is not playing without class. number 3 played without class
