who wins? cuero needs to work on their kickoff team. too many long returns that set up easy touchdowns.

One long return, a couple of short kicks that led to good field position. Kickoff team is fine.

you totally missed the point. they gave up a long return against stafford that set up their only touchdown. they gave up a long return against LH that set up a touchdown that could have put cuero away early. short kickoffs that lead to good field position isnt a problem? come on dude. i know the kicker can reach the 5 yard line. he should do it every time. the kickoff team shouldnt have to fear a kick returner until the playoffs. cuero wont play anyone with that kind of talent until then besides LH.

The short kicks were the product of a stiff wind...dude

ithink its a coach thing they have done the pooch kick for the last few years and i dont think there loses can be attributed to it

Well when you score over 20 something times, and kick off another 4 just because the rules say so, giving up two long ones isn't really as "doom and gloom" as you make it seem, is it???

Pooch kickoffs are done for 1 reason......you have the confidence that your defense is good enough to hold your opponent to 3 and out and turn the ball over. Cuero's defense is that good, therefore why not pooch the kick and get the ball right back. The best athletes on the field are the 2 guys waiting for the kickoff. Why give it to them? If there is no wind and you have a good kicker, bust the ball and go head-hunting.

LaVernia has that new coach this year and they don't look like a push-over. That being said I'll pick Cuero by 35.

Cuero by as much as they want if they leave their 1st string in. If they pull them out at halftime, then maybe 20-30

La Vernia is much like bandera. They have an accurate QB that has two good recievers. They do not have the athletes that Cuero does. Cuero is coached very well and I look for Cuero to win this game by 2 or 3 touchdowns.

does anyone have an injury update on quincey? the victoria paper said 3-5 weeks and the cuero record said the season. i dont know which one to believe. both are known for printing plenty of false information.

The best athletes doesn't always win the game. Big C should win on paper but this game isn't on paper. Old Bo just may pull out W in this one. It'll be close......
