the eagles are 9-4 and defeated 4A san angleo lakeview 6-3 last night, i think the eagels are at the top of the class in 3A baseball.

To West Texas Coach: You have always been a responsible poster, what happened?.....I was serious at the time, many deep west teams play New Mexico teams just as we in SE Texas try to schedule the best in big enrollment in Louisiana. And some play Mexican teams.....Jasper posters have been quite responsible for some time now. You have shown that you do not know anything about 3A Baseball-Buna has always been up in the bracket play each year. Jasper went four rounds in 4A last year and I would venture to say that Pecos would have a very hard time taking Lufkin Central, Jasper, Buna, Bridge City, Lorena, Barbers Hill etc: As to the racial slap about the KKK teams, I personally resent that! I pull for a town with a lot of whites, a few blacks, and a host of Vietnamese and Latinos-we work extra hard to get along with other races, and scholls where the ratios are different! For a Coach, you sure seem to have a personal racial problem! I have always championed Pecos since they joined us in 3A. Your remarks sure are taken on a sour note. I think you owe a lot of people on this board a well-thought-out apology for the racial slurs that you have posted. I would bet your School Board would just love to know what you have inferred!

Come on coach, he explained to you what he meant. Actually, when I read the post about New Mexico and Mexico teams, I didn't give it a second thought. It wouldn't surprise me in the least for West Texas teams to play either place. The only thing racial I read into any of these posts, was in yours!! I feel you had to dig deep to find something there, or else you have a huge chip on YOUR shoulder.

I am sorry that what I said was considered a racial slur.....I actually think it is neat to play the best teams from another State; and even better to play good teams from another Country. Lamar University, where I received my undergrade degrees, use to play a University in Mexico City in football. It was one of the biggest events of the year. Ole buddy, I don't know where you graduated from, but looking at your grammar,I sure hope you don't teach in a HS where my grandchildren have to attend. I bet I can guess what your major was!

I looked up Pecos baseball, they lost in the first post season games, last season, 13-4, 16-9. The team that beat them was murdered in the next round, 14-2, 11-1. They have not made the final four at least back to 1990, when I quite looking. They lost to Seminole, Monahans, and Snyder, all 3 A's. I did not look up Odessa High's classification. I would guess Snyder, Jasper, Carthage, Borger, Canyon, Navasota, and several others will compete well in 3A, along with Pecos. A lot of the good 3A team loses have been to rated 4A teams, which is justifyable.
