When I drove into town from Marble Falls, I drove by the field and the JV score was LH 6, Cuero 14. My son was there and said we had a great finish. WTG, boys! :clap: :clap:

Freshman team - 'Lil Lawhorn had a GREAT game with 3 TD's. Good job, guys!

MF 7th-A team was BIG. :eek: Way to not give up, kids. :)

It's too bad I could only be in one town tonight, because they really both sounded like great games! Cuero Freshmen recovered a fumble on the 1 and ran it in 99 yds for TD. :eek:

La Grange Fish won 21 - 12 against Gonzales. La Grange's Freshmen injury bug is still going strong. The starting QB and starting RB has still not played this year and they lost another one last week against Sealy with a broken arm, he went both ways. As long as the O-line keeps it up they will continue to do well.

Rockdale Freshman lead 42-6 at the half and cruised to a 42-6 win at home against a Mexia team that was undefeated on the year (only lost 2 total games overall). The Tigers looked very good despite the starting QB being pulled up to varsity this week.

The Rockdale Jv was ahead late in the 4th quarter 20-0 as well.

Don't know much on the freshman game. The JV guys are playing great. Their D is getting better every game. They have two shutouts so far. The O is doing real good. Just a few stats that I know.

I drove to Giddings yesterday to watch the 7 grade games and the scores were:

Hutto B 14
GiddingsB 12

Hutto A 12
GiddingsA 6

I then made the trip from Giddings to Hutto in 48 minutes to catch the final quarter of the JV game. Hutto lead 20-6 at the half, Giddings tied it at 20 in the 4th, then Hutto marched 70 yards to win the game 28-20.

All were great games, and I cannot wait for tonight.

Monahans FR class is supposed to be very good. In fact, the JV quarterback is a big athletic freshman rumored to be good enough to compete for the varsity starting job next year.

Snyder eighth graders shut out SWEETWATER, 30-0. Way to go Tigers.
