and all through the town
not a smile to be seen
yet not a sight of a frown
the faces were full of seriousness
there was tension in the air
Gobbla2001 was busy post-padding, he had not a care
then all of the sudden it hit him like a ton of bricks
"I must make a post about the game with a couple of clicks"
but the words soon got longer and his eyes they did close
"I'm going to sleep fools, Cuero wins and everyone knows"

okay just having fun, nite gotta be at work in five hours...

two different types of food, if you like mexican- go to bravos
longhorn is more home cookin'

I prefer La Plazita over both!!!!Most people coming thru never see it.

I agree JT - I figured Don Bravo would be PACKED, plus I didn't want to "smell" like Don Bravo all night (those that eat there know what I mean) I LOVE La Plazita, but sometimes, they tend to be slow and I figured Longhorn would be the best place to meet for several reasons: 1) plenty of room 2) location
3) variety of food - did you decide if you're coming?

you do smell after Bravo's- I always change after getting home from there
La Plazita doesn't open till 6
Longhorn is probably the cleanliest also
Pretty sure I'll be there

I love don bravos, La Plazita's grilled pork chops are good, been eating at the Longhorn since I was a tiny squirt, maybe it's old times that make me enjoy that place...

I am seriously entertaining the idea of coming to Cuero for this game!

God, the logistics alone are scaring me! It's like seven hours away.

My son made it from Cuero to Oklahoma in a little over 5 hours. Gilmer shouldn't be that bad.

If you come from gilmer hit 77 in waco and take it down all the way to victoria then take the cuero exit. Not geographically sure where gilmer is other than up yonder, but this will keep you from traffic mostly and its nice scenary.

Yah, going to Vic is for sure out of the way...

And making OK in five hours from Cuero is possible if you hit 35 on a 'fast' day...

We made OK in a little over three hours from Austin when the traffic was fast, Austin is only an hour and a half from Cuero so it seems realistic...
