What is a players past/present who's name fitted the position they played?

My vote goes to Stryker Sulak who was a standout at Rockdale who is now at Missouri.

Yup, Rod Smart of the XFL. He used to play for the Carolina Panthers. Not sure where he is at now or if he is even playing.

I wonder if he is related to Pecos McCool, formerly of Graham. Pecos graduated last year...

It was. A very good linebacker then. Played on the teams with Shipley and McGee.

Breck had a kid a few years ago named Cash Langford. He got hurt during pregame warmups and came off the field on crutches. Who I assume was his father and older brother went into the lockerroom and I assume motivated him. 5 minutes after they went in he came running out and rejioned the team. Played most of the first half before reaggravating. Tough kid.

Coolest name ever for a football player is Bruski (don't think I spelled it right) played for the Pats.

There was a LB that either played for Notre Dame or Michigan. I think his name was Jeremy Irons. I don't know if any of the above info. is correct but the kids name was Irons.

I always thought "A.J. Hawk" was a great name for a LB.

In the '70s there was a QB of Cherokee ancestry who played for the Washington Huskies named Sonny Sixkiller.

He was good enough to be a Heisman candidate. I remember when he was on the cover of Sports Illustrated as it touted his prospects.

According to the link, as of two years ago he was the color analyst on Husky broadcasts.
