Did you see the start of the game when the Miami players were stomping on the Louisville logo on the field and a fight also resulted. Poetic justice indeed.
Miami has disrespected several teams in the pass. I remember they whipped UT in the 90s once and were so disrespectful in their taunting that the Miami president issued a public apology for their players' conduct.
In the 80s when Coach Jimmy Johnson was there they went to a a bowl game to play for the NC against Penn State and Miami and their coach walked out of a ceremony because one of the Penn State players joked about Coach Johnson's hair. This was met to be good natured kidding but Miami players and coaches walked out rudely on people that were paying their expenses. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. The Miami team could have responded good naturly the other way but they stormed out. The poetic justice was that Penn State won which was one of the few times I wanted them to win.
