LOL if I EVER broadcast a football game that went 142-114..I would not say anything on the air but touchdown..and would say BOTH team's were classless and running up the score LOL

In a related story. The makers of little plastic footballs have had their stock shoot up 150% as their sales have tripled after last night.

Out of curiosity...if BOTH teams are over a hundred, how is that running up the score. If you are matching TD for TD...whether its 7 to 7 or 107 to 107....you still wanna win!!:D

Just a quickie question....once the game got to the 4th quarter.....at 70-10 or whatever....why not let the clock run regardless of the play to just get it over with? If it did, I didn't know and was just wondering because I know it's happened before. Anyone??

FYI infornation. Six-man has a "mercy" rule. When a team leads by 45 or more at halftime or any time in the second half, the game is over.

I think if the coaches agree a running clock can be in effect come 3rd QT... I'm pretty sure LH and Gatesville agreed to a running clock...

We all know if there wasn't a running clock last night it would have been 284-10...
