Lubbock Cooper 56, Lovington NM 24. Ha ha New Mexico can't hang. Both Mexico teams went far in the state playoffs last year.

Amarillo Bushland 26, Boys Ranch 0.
Dalhart 27, River Road 6. Golden Wooves 3-0 on the year... but they won't hang with Perryton and Canyon. However might upset Boorger and make the playoffs.
Levelland 12, Denver City 8.
Brownfield 14, Lamesa 0
Littlefield 28, Idalou 7. Littlefield is gonna be a force in 2a this year.
Friona Chieftains 46, Morton Indians 0. Too many Chieftains and not enough Indians. :D

That win by Littlefield is shocking. Idalou is a strong 2A team out there in the Llano Estacado. To beat the Wildcats by that much.... very strong statement by Littlefield.
Ever notice all the teams that used to be 3A around Lubbock?
Brownfield, Denver City, Littlefield, Levelland dropped from 4A to 3A, etc....

We play Idalou this friday. I would really be shocked if they are as big or bigger than Shallowater. I think they will be tough.

correction final score Littlefield 28 Idalou 21. Score was 28-7 at the start of the 4th and the sorry Lubbock TV stations reported that as a final.
Still an impressive win by Littlefield. who will just have to pay some other weekend for their copyright infringement on Gobbla.
maybe they'll pay when they meet Muleshoe in the playoffs ;)
