No wonder our women lost to Germany. It is the Sports Illustrated Jinx! Nearly everytime they put someone's picture on their cover that team loses. The week before the USA vs Germany in the Women's Soccer World Cup they had Mia Hamm on the cover. SI please don't put any of the national teams picture on your cover till the events are over and also no Texas team on your cover till after the season please.

Crz it eliminated the USA from the championship game which will be played Sunday between Germany and Sweden and Germany should win easily. The USA will play Canada tomorrow for third place. But hopefully the USA will use it as a wake up call and win the Olymphics next year. That might save the WUSA.
Terrible news about Tim Duncan being on the cover of SI! Luckily it will be before the season though and not before the playoffs.
