Rockdale Freshman won tonight on the road against a previously unbeaten Madisonville squad 24-8.

The Tigers stonewalled the Mustangs offense allowing 3 first downs on the night. The Tigers held a 10-0 lead at the half and started out the Third quarter scoring 14 more points. The Mustangs scored late in the fourth when the Tigers most of the starters were on the sidelines.

The Tiger JV was up 15-0 late in the second quarter and appeared to have the game in hand when I headed home.

Not sure of all the scores. Wylie won JV, Frosh A. Graham won Frosh B.

JH's played Tuesday. Wylie won both 7th grade games. Graham won the 8B, and the A's tied in a barn burner.

Always liked it when La Grange played Manor. They were very tough in 2003 when my son played for the Leps as a senior OT. He had the stomach flu, headache, vomiting, muscle pain, the whole picture that night. He made some key blocks in the winning td drive to give the Leps a 24-21 victory against the 5-0 Mustangs in their house that night. That was an exciting game. The Mustangs went to the third round in the D1 playoffs impressing everyone that season. Good luck this season.:)

does sinton have sub-varsity teams? if so, they ought to suit some of those guys up. at the sinton/cuero game, it looked like sinton roster was half the size of cueros roster (suited up on field)
