An honest error---I was just so used to him being at Canton, but I corrected it quickly to Gilmer.

I would say Noack will be amongst the top names. WIll be hard to unseat Kinne unless something drastic happens.

You always try to give me a helping hand, Tiger WR---thanks.
But, thank God I made that correction---don't need another "firestorm".

Anthony Ramos - Canyon (if his numbers this year are anything like last year's)

I can see Durban getting some big honors this year. Real good QB who deserves to be recognized.

Chale Holmes from West Oso. He's gonna turn some heads this year.

This is a homer thread, but I'm going to be a homer.

Cobb-Decatur (can run as good as any running back, and can throw about as well as any QB) He's also 6'3" 200 lbs.

UB---Cobb is the only "star" QB I have seen play other than Kinne, and I agree with you. Cobb will get noticed a lot more as the season progresses, especially after a game like this week's with Sweetwater. I just hope he and Cardenas have an "off" night against the Bulls.

Hey Bull, How is Durban doing so far? My dad is good friends with his father and he said he is not pleased with his game this year so far! I wanted to hear a different type of "spectators" opinion so to speak.

Nate, Durban has had his share of problems----first, the broken ankle during baseball last season, and now a separated shoulder from the Breckenridge game. Coach Henson thinks he may be able to return to action in the next 2-3 weeks, but we will have to see. In the 1 game that the has played in, Durban had to avoid the rush on nearly every play and had to throw on the run quite a bit. He does not have a lot of speed so this was a little rough for him to set up and throw. When he can set up, his throws have been pretty well on target with some "zip". If he re-conditions his arm well, I think he will have a good year throwing.

He is definitely the best in their district, he had a few too many picks last year but he put up stellar numbers other than that. It was like 2,700 yards and 28 TDs or something. This year he has been playing very well. He probably should get honorable mention, but if he got higher than that, I would not be surprised

Who else? Cobb is good too and he will have the spotlight Thursday night to show his stuff when Decatur beats Sweetwater.

I thought the RB was the "stud" at Giddings.

Fitzhenry is the QB....and he gets most of their rushing yards.

O.k, thanks LHPM. I thought I had read a thread somewhere that said that a former really good running back had returned to Giddings this season.

I hope Durban plays in the Big Sandy! He deserves his senior year more than anyone on the Bulls team IMO...he has done to much there and has stepped up to fill in for (Phill D!)

G.J. is in a league of his own in 3A. The boy is a stud. Throws hard like Aikman and runs like a fullback. If you have not seen him play, you need to before he graduates......because Baylor is NEVER on TV.:D

yea but their schedule really isnt that tough....and if I was playing Kinne I would aim for the knees and flip on the kill-switch
