I havent heard much about any good 2A teams this year i was just wondering who stood at the top of that list?.............Are the Lexington Eagles anywhere near the top i heard they had a convincing win against a sorry team but I know they have an outstanding QB Chase McCravey and a RB but i cant think of his name at the time.

I think Tatum runs the table in convincing fashion in 2A this year. They are probably as good or better this year than they were last year, and we all know what they did last year. That loss last week to Gilmer should just give them that much more determination to prove what they have.

true true but i guess it helps when u get moved down from 3A right after you win the state championship

they have the players to do it. I think they would be ranked hgh again his year if they would have stayed in 3A. A lot of talent over there.

Yes, but they had 2A numbers last year, when they won the 3A title.
You know that had to be like a knife in the heart of a lot of 2A programs that thought they had a legit chance, with Celina making the jump to 3A.

Last poll I saw had Lexington at number 3 behind Tatum and Jefferson. Tatum should be the class of 2A this year, but Lexington again sounds tough.

Cotulla has been in 2A numbers for a while so moving down should help them.

These three teams stand out the most to me; Lexington, Tatum, and Hempstead.
