Reports: Britney Spears gives birth to second child

LOS ANGELES – Pop princess Britney Spears gave birth to her second child Tuesday, a 6-pound, 11-ounce boy, according to magazine reports.

The 24-year-old singer's representative did not confirm the birth Tuesday and the newborn's name remained a mystery.

The infant was delivered by Cesarean section shortly before 2 a.m., according to the National Enquirer, which broke the news.

US Weekly and People also reported Spears had a boy, while MTV News said it could not confirm the report.

The birth came almost exactly a year after the arrival of her first son, Sean Preston Federline, who was born Sept. 14, 2005.

Britney's husband, Kevin Federline, 28, drove her to the hospital Monday night, but only her mom, Lynn, and sister, Jamie Lynn, were present during the birth, according to the Enquirer.

Federline has two other children, Kori, 4, and Kaleb, 2, from a previous relationship with actress Shar Jackson.

hmm....I'm thinking that she had the second kid on the same day as the first one so that K-Fed only had to remember 1 birthday instead of 2...plus his other kids! ;)

How do you figure that? It said the first one was born on Sept 14th....yesterday was the 12th!

ahh...I missed the part in the article where it said "ALMOST exactly the same." I was just scanning it and read "exactly the same" instead. Doh!!! :doh:

Ice, Ice Baby :D K Fed was on one of the talk shows this week (Ellen maybe?) I saw his performance, I was almost embarressed for him..... :rolleyes:

The one thing I like about Britney Speares besides her great talent is the fact that she is from LA and in spite of being in Hollywood and around stars she displays good moral Christian values.
