Brownsboro is without the stud RB for another week I think. This team is going to be for real

Brownsboro is without their TB and their best WR/DB (he's a better player than the TB). If Athens was to make the playoffs Brownsboro could make some noise in DII. Remember they lost to Tatum by 1 point in rd. 1 last yr. Having said that Van beat em last year and will beat em this year as well. This district goes 1. Van 2. Brownsboro 3. Athens 4. Canton 5. Bullard 6. Chapel Hill.

i dont know...the RB and receiver will be back for that Van-Brownsboro game...i know you are from Van but having them back will make it a totally different game. Brownsboro is MUCh better then last year. Not that Van isnt but BBoro is nowhere near the same.

Good points but what BB does best is use it's huge O'line to run the ball. What Van does best on D is stop the run and they can shut down one receiver. That TB doesn't want anything to do with Calhoun & Crawford and their best RB graduated last year. Plus the game is in Van. I don't see how BB has improved as much as Van has. Gonna be a hard hitting and fun game to watch!

Yes Ricco was suspended. Jason Johnson is the player who graduated and who I think is a better overall player. He's playing at TVCC I think.

I still think the Texans are in the mix, the second or third-best team in the region for sure. They lost to a 3A powerhouse and then beat a 4A playoff squad... one that has a great shot at winning their district. They only returned a few starters (what was it, five?) so they're still gelling.

I predict by week 5 or 6 that Silsbee will be in the top 10. Week 7 game of the week will have 2 undefeated and top 10 teams playing for the district title: Silsbee-WOS.

So let it be written, so let it be done.

My mistake Gobbla---I thought you were quoting some of the posts LHPM received about her GOTW choices. :D
