Region IV Game of the Week (2): Mathis @ Falfurrias

The Mathis Pirates (dist 30) will be in Falfurrias to play the Jerseys (dist 31).

The Pirates are 1-1, with a win over Odem and the loss to Goliad and return 6/7 starters. They do have several strong defensive players back from last year's season. Can they pull out the win?

The Jerseys, 1-1, have a loss to the Howling Bears of CC West Oso :eek: and defeated Roma. 6/8 starters return from the 2005 squad, with two OL'men grading out at 95% or better. Can they make the Pirates walk the plank?

Thoughts? Predictions?

I'd say Falfurrias in this one...just from the fact that Mathis lost to Goliad...haven't seen either one play, just my prediction!
