Region II Game of the Week (2): Canton @ Royse City

The Canton Eagles from district 14 will travel to Royse City to take on the Bulldogs of district 10.

The Eagles are undefeated so far, having played Tyler Bishop TK Gorman and Commerce. They return 7/3 starters, were quarterfinalists in 2005, and seem to be fairing quite well with their new coach and new system. Can they keep it up for the 3rd straight week on the road?

The Bulldogs are also unbeaten on the season, having defeated both Kaufman and Terrell. They return 6/6 starters and were DI bi-district finalists in 2005. Do they have what it takes to beat the Eagles?

royse city is good. Royse city is VERY good. I think the outcome will be worse then the RC-Terrell result

RC has a D1 kid in the backfield and has two good quarterbacks. One of them is great through the air. The other one is a big time threat on the ground...he is a transfer from Garland Naaman Forest

this is a good choice for game of the week in RII..RC has alot back..Canton rebuilding but out to a fast start...not every game of the week can be a Tatum vs Gilmer..give some love to the solid teams

I'll say that this one is surprisingly close because of Canton's tremendous defense. Remember, they only gave up 58 to Gilmer last year.
