Everman #6 in the 4A poll? I heard Wichita Falls put the kung-** on them Friday. I guess Sweetwater would have to be about #2 or 3 in the 4A poll under their logic.

Thanks, there, Einstein. I know it is a Dallas Area poll. I wuz makin tha point that Sweetwater would have to be considered on par with the top 4A teams in the metroplex on a relative performance basis. Maybe you need to go back and review your baby einstein videos to learn your shapes and colors better, sharpen up the old deductive reasoning skillz, pardner!

Sweetwater couldn't score on any top 10 4a team, area or state.

Ok, they might score in garbage time.

Explain this:

Week 1: Sweetwater 24 - WFHS 14
Week 2: WFHS 26 - Everman 14

To further show they are comparable both were home teams. Sweetwater Home vs. WF and Everman was Home vs. WF

Everman is ranked #6 in the DFW 4A poll.

Just something to think about....

well, one can manipulate comparison scores in a multitude of ways to suit his/her aganda ...

now yes, given the above comparison one could conclude that if Sweetwater were to play Everman then they would win by 22 points [(24-14)+(26-14)]

and, one could also conclude that since in the DMNs area 4A poll Everman is currently ranked #6, that if Sweetwater were to be in the DMNs coverage area, and in 4A, that they would (should/could) be ranked anywhere from 1-5

thats all well and good

Fact is - if they were to play, I wouldn't be surprised if Everman beat Sweetwater by 4 TDs. I would also not be surprised if Sweetwater beat Everman by 4 TDs. You just never know whats gonna happen. A couple of turnovers can quickly give a team a 2 TD lead in a close game.

whats my point? crap, I don't even remember now ....

Thats the better logic. Trying to predict a head-to-head is more dicey, but since polls are subjective, then based on performance YTD Sweetwater would have to be considered on par with a top 10 metroplex 4A team by the folks who voted or put this ranking list together.

My personal opinion is that Everman is down and is ranked too high in this poll.

Makes for good debate though.
