the worst must be Giddings, they went from hamstrings and glutes and knock you out kids to: (pretend like jump rope, sounds like a well thought out plan, kids tell me its a joke)
straight from the horses mouth no speculation!!!!
Oh well, good luck any how buffs, stay at it.

mat drills-drills you do on a mat...
at sinton we have about 1..2....7 different ones
it works on agility, quickness, and endurance
i know we have one of the best off seasons in the state because last year people even videotaped out workouts to see what we were doing

Umm..yea Burnet off-season is hell-on-earth.

Phase 1
A Day-Big 5(Bench, power clean, incline, military, and squat) and mat drills(bear crawls, forward rolls, ect.)
B Day-Circuit(any weight machine ever concieved by man, 30 seconds at each one before Coach Jones blows the damn whistle and we have to haul ass to the next one or its grass drills for 10 minutes) and speedladders and plow/jump boxes

Phase 2
Weight Day-Big 5 and circuit in one day(yikes)
Agility Day-May drills and ladders and boxes

Phase 3
Outdoor Spring Training

If you want to be the best football player you can be, then move to Burnet and join the off-season. Nuff said.

Gainesville offseason is 4 days of weight lifting, and 1 day of mat drills, dot drills, and other stuff like bungees and polymetric stuff.. then when we start spring practice during the period we would lift weights 3 days a week and run 2 before school.. Scouts that have came here have said our work out is more intense then any other school they have been to, but then again they could have very well have been suckin up.. but offseason is taken very seriously in G-ville, and I think that shows with the improvement of our program
