Yup. THis game was STRANGE.
Here's a brief rundown.
1st quarter: Teams exchange points....two touchdowns for Yoe, a TD & FG for Gatesville. Quarter ends 13-10 Yoe.

2nd quarter: Pretty much a defensive battle as Cameron scores once but seems to be having their way w/ the Hornet offense probably putting them in the negative yardage. With a minute and a half to go in the half, Cameron starts to march upfield for possibly another score but the drive stalls, we go in at half 19-10. BUT....we have that Gatesville team compeltely halted and a decent lead so no big deal....wrong-o.....

3rd quarter - another solid defensive battle but GV is starting to move the ball effectively and Cameron does as well but can't get it in the endzone. teams exchange on fumbles & interceptions but nothing major however GV does get in a TD, FG & Safety to bring them to 22-9

4th quarter - another GV dominated quarter as they get yet another TD. Cameron was just completely outplayed 2nd half and made MANY errors offensively. The biggest problem was dropping balls that hit them right in the numbers. There were at least 5 very blatant pass interference calls that were not called on but regardless, it's hard to say how much they would've altered the final outcome. Very very tough loss but Gatesville came to play and is definately for real. Look for them to shake things up this year as the real Hornets appear to be back in fine form. They also introduced an amazing running game that wasn't seen last week as their #5 was just a stud beast that was rarely taken down by one guy. Best of luck to them though, they deserved the victory tonight. 17 3A had best take notice.
*edit, the final TD the Hornets got was ALSO in the 3rd quarter. Neither team scored at all in the 4th...my bad

Yoemen......well......most obvious things that need to be worked on are those dropped passes and running when they didn't have the ball securely in hand. Brian did an outstanding job (save for that safety he should've thrown the ball IMHO) but he is the commander of this team and did what he could. Defense MUST follow through with tackles!! This was noticed last week and even more so this week. Keep ur heads up guys and regroup. I know a few key players are out due to injury but the backups did a great job. You got ur dirt on the jerseys with this loss, now suck it up and move forward. GO YOE!!!!
