I personally found it to help agility and possibly speed. Depending on how you set it up and work out will enhance your results.

I found it a good way to tear every ligament in my knee. Im 20 years old right now, and my knees hurt when i walk, and when im at work. Plys can be good for you, but if you land wrong in the wrong spot doin some stuff...it can be the end of your entire playing days

both science and most coaches agree that plyos are very good for athletes. they help to recruit fast twitch muscle fibers...those help with explosiveness, and leads to both speed and quickness. Also, it can help to prevent many knee injuries.
