This is a sad state of affairs that a grown man thinks he would need to hit a small kid.

According to sources, the parent overheard the boy tell his son "My daddy could beat up your daddy", not knowing who the boy's "daddy" was, he figured the best way to find out would be to start some mess with the kid so it would draw his father out of the crowd...

What a MORON!
I bet a judge comes down on him as hard as the law will allow. As it should be.

I don't condone what the parent did but the oposing coach condemned him but failed to mention his own player's late hit from behind which I think is a clip plus it was after the play.

From what I saw of the parents on both teams reaction, I think both coaches accompanied by the local police should call a parents meeting and each make a stern, butt-chewing speech about parents behaving badly, and how there would be "0" tolerance for such behavior in the future and outline the criminal charges which would be brought against violators.

it was after the play... you can see the kid who got clipped go flying... and his dad (im assuming) is the dad who went and hit the kid....

If I were a parent from the other side I would have suited up... then I would have gone out there and ran a touchdown...

Okay, a 11-12 y/o kid delivering a late hit on another 11-12 y/o is a LOT different than a grown man leveling one.
