I'm guessing that those that voted saw this, "Oh look...they lost a close game to Brownwood and they are always a tough 4A team." Now if they would have taken 2 minutes to find an article, they would have read "Wylie up 14-0 4 minutes into the game...can't move the ball to save their life...Brownwood is not very good and couldn't get out of their own way...got a few breaks in the 2nd half and converted them into points to get a win in this ugly game."

hence the "problem" ... typical voters will not take the time to search for an article ......

Can someone answer this question:

If Cuero is considered South Texas and is in the top three every year, then why is it that when the conversation comes up about South Texas, the topic often turns to baseball?

I mean, if Cuero can be a weekly Top 10 team, then what's to prevent schools 50 to 100 miles South of there - especially toward the Valley - from advancing past the fourth round? The Corpus area doesn't have the problem, so why can't they motivate players in Progreso, for example?

They have plenty of Hispanics in Cuero High School (look at their roster every year) and they can produce.

What's the gig?

lol i know thats why they recruited him...i was at the game last year and he signed the contract after their loss which guaranteed he was allowed to bring one of his recievers over to gilmer too

Has anyone heard this old saying?

Don't cut off your nose to spite your face

The New Dictionary of Cultural Literacy, Third Edition. 2002.

Don’t engage in an act of anger or revenge that will hurt you more than it hurts anyone else.

Seems he's harboring some ill will toward some on his old team. Recently he is saying anything, fact or fiction to get a rub in at them.

I myself am quite surprised. Thought he had more character than that.
