I agree ... what I saw on Friday night was scary, really scary!! I wouldn't be suprised if we went 2-4 in pre-season. 3-3? Iowa Park ... Wimberly ... Frenship ... some tough teams that we will have to step up big time.

And we are still getting used to all the changes, it isn't easy to do things completely different like Sandifer is this year but we will get there.

I think Wylie is maybe like 6 or 7 in the region right now ... they surely can move up, but right now I don't think they are up there near the top.

I also agree, I think our tradition is aiding in these rankings. Don't count Hugh out though, he has a way of always having good seasons and good playoff runs. I don't see this year being any different.

Ok this Friday will be a good test for the Lions playing Midland Christian. Decatur is also on table in non district. Wins over those two and the respect will follow.

I had no idea they even went beyond the top 10.

Ratings are all about getting people hyped up. We all know they are not too meaningful. They are fun to cuss and discuss. It actually wouldn't bother me to have my Lions under the radar the entire season although after seeing them play on Friday I doubt that will happen.

That's what I was wondering. Don't get me wrong, I still hate Vernon, but they seem pretty good this year. Guess we'll see here in a few weeks come time for district.
