Yea, they are really not in the DFW area, but they don't have very many 3A schools here, so my guess is they are trying to fill out the top 10.

We were debating on if we should put 6-3A in with our Metroplex rankings....we cover teams by districts much like the Star-Telegram and Dallas Morning News does...FWST covers Graham so thus they include Graham in their rankings..as did we....same with Rains they are in a district with DFW teams so we included them in our rankings...

Yeah, but if you know Texas geography like most of the people here, it just sounds funny to hear those schools listed as Metroplex schools.:D
