After noticing what Giddings did to Yoakum, and the way Cameron has been playing, I'm afraid this one may get ugly in favor of Giddings. After the Cameron/China Spring game, I thought well first game jitters got to Cameron, but after the past few weeks I think Cameron may just be WAY down this year. I can't remember the last time Cameron started this slow. It will be tough for them to make the playoffs. As of now, I see it Marlin 1st, Rockdale and Lorena getting the other two spots. I've always liked Cameron and hope they can get it turned around, but they've got their work cut out for em against Giddings.

I was suprised to see Giddings doing so well. I thought Rockdale was going to blow them out, and then Giddings came out there determined to win and they played hard the whole game and came out on top. Im gonna keep my eye on Giddings throughout the season.

Records don't mean a thing when Cameron and Giddings play. Last year, the Buffs were 0-3 when we went to Cameron. If not for a last second TD pass, Giddings would've pulled off the upset.

But, that was last year...

Giddings is a little better this year, and Yoe appears to be not as good as they were. Plus, Billy Pittman, who had quite a few good games against us, is gone. The game will be at Giddings, and the house will be packed.

Gotta go with the Buffs in this one. Giddings, 31-14.

where were all you giddings boosters last week.never heard a thing out of you guys before the yoakum game.
you have got a damn good looking team as allways.and this coach uses an offense that suits the big and physicial nature of a typical giddings ball club. i think yoakum young kids learned a valuable lesson in a non dist. game about turnovers making a big difference against a very good ballclub. your team is similiar to a couple of teams in our dist. and that should help us.
we have been playing giddings for years in non dist. and its allways been a good game for both teams. pretty sure that will continue.

Giddings 38 Cameron 6 Cameron is strugling this year maybe they can turn it around, but Giddings seems to be doing pretty good so we will just have to see.
