Cuero is Great, But Region 4 is Bad

Again, Cuero is a Great Team but Region 4 is just not very good...

Case In Point:

Rockdale whom I would be very surprised(if not mildy shocked) is going to be dead last in their district JUST FLAT DOMINATED Gonzales last night...

The same Gonzales who is probably going to be second in their district to Cuero...

Cuero is the Cream of the Crop in Region 4.

It's a very short list of other good teams after that...

But, that's just my humble opinion....

I don't think anyone will dispute that, but it sounds to me like Cuero has a bad district. Maybe the whole region isn't horrible! I don't know; I don't live anywhere close to region 4.

I think this year is the weakest Region 4 has been in a while... No mas West Columbia, no more Liberty Hill etc...

Though they were beat handily by Giddings last night, Wimberly is still a good team because Giddings is a damn good team...

Bandera is going to have a very good team and seeing how La Vernia did against Bandera it seems that they'll have a good team...

Gonzales may finish third, Yoakum looks like they'll have a good squad so stick to your 19-3A...

Ha, play one team from Region 4 and wow, know everything...

And don't forget about Hondo, they're feeling spicy out there right now (not sure if they played last night and how it went etc...)

One thing I thought would make us a little stronger in Region 4 was the addition of Medina Valley who has been hyped up pretty well...

But you don't lose 48-10 to Beeville...

but maybe Beeville has something going on this year... anyone know?

Score was only 41-10. Only TD was on opening KO return. The only reason MV is hyped is their abundance of big linemen, which is totally misused in their spread offense. I believe their starting QB was injured, and the two backups were still pretty green. Big D line got dominated by Beeville.

How could you say region 4 is bad? they were arguably the best region last year, and losing only a few teams does not instantly transform them into bad. Ill tell you right now a state champion will come from region 4 this year.

It's a personal thing for me.. My son is a Senior this year - they've had a shot at it Sophomore and Junior year, so I am hoping this year (the 3rd year) is the charm.. that's all it means..

and I have been rooting for Cuero since Wylie beat me my senior season and I hope they get back into the mix of things...but I wanna see a region 1 team take it all...just like every year
