Lockhart 14 LG 7 at the half. The Leps need to stop the run. The Lions are just running up the middle on the Leps. Nothing special just going at them. The Leps scored on the openning series on a 49 yard pass but haven't done much since. The Lions missed two FGs to keep it close for now. The Lions receive at the start of the third. Go Leps!

La Grange 21 Lockhart 14 final. Great win on the road against 4A Lockhart. The Leps came back in the second half to shut out the Lions on D and the O line delivered for a ground control game to score twice. A 61 yard run by Nathan Neiser in the third and a classic ball control 70 yard drive late in the 4th to go up 19-14. A 2 point conversion on a swinging gate pitch from the holder gave the Leps a 21-14 lead with4 minutes to go. The D held and the Leps ran out the clock on the Lions 20 yard line. Way to go Leps! Again the O line really made the difference in controlling the line of scrimmage in the second half.
