i moved here from the pig... havent been there in ages now I tried to do both but this place just pisses me off less.

GP83, The pig is down again. Everytime it goes down there is rumor it is on it's last leg, but it always seems to come back.


There just isn't anybody to run it, what with the owner being deceased and the fact that the moderators on there do absolutely nothing to monitor the site.

So it's rife with political posts and people can pretty say whatever they want to without fear of being ROM'd. One can only imagine what this site would be like without moderators.......

It may just be the pig, but it is the successor to THE original TXHSFB board, no question!

It will be sad to see it go, since at least i can see the entire thread on one page. Here there is too much clutter.

I miss the original pigskin prep board. That was old school, and almost 100% football posts.

I wouldn't mind helping to run that old site, but no one seems to know how to get into the editing pages. I thought RV Baugus was the owner of that site, but he seems to still be alive (God Bless Him!).

And whatever happened to John Buck Cargal? If you don't know who that is, then you, my friends, are not old school.

It's strange how nobody can get ever get in touch with anyone about the board, but it seems to keep trucking along. It seems that someone HAS to be at least checking on it and ironing out some wrinkles. (Did they ever get the zero post problem fixed???)

It has the possibility to be a great board....it's where I go during the season to get most of my scores out of 3A.
