Is James Battle gonna play this year? I remember him being a stud at Denton Ryan. Don't know what he is doing now, but I heard that he had transferred from TCU last fall.

High School: Regarded as one of the top prep signal callers in Texas as a senior... state top-100 player according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram... three year starter for coach Joey Florence at Denton Ryan... career record of 42-4... 2002 4A Offensive Player of the Year by the Texas Sports Writers Association after passing for 2,989 yards and 31 touchdowns as a senior... helped lead the Raiders to the 2002 4A Division II state tltle - their second straight with Battle at the helm... threw for 3,017 yards and 38 touchdowns as a junior and rushed for 603 yards and 11 TDs....
