This will be a really good game...don't underestimate the Cadets....9-2 last year with a lot of key performers back...it'll come down to the wire..

I agree it will be a great game. Connally returns alot and Liberty Hill is replacing the entire old monster if you take into consideration that the only back returnng is the QB and he's been moved to HB. Connally couldn't catch LH at a better time than this, the Cadets have a good shot in this one. If they played late in the season I'd give the edge to LH, but since it's early and the Panthers are not only replacing the monster, but breaking in some transfers that are completely new to the slot-T system, it may take them a while to get rolling full steam this season. I hope I'm wrong and the Panthers come out firing on all cylinders. This should be a GREAT GAME to start the season. Go Panthers!

I've watched some of the youngsters grow into beastly man-children the last 3 weeks. If they continue the path they've been on, the Monster will once again hit the field with all cylinders running. And if the personnel stays the same as the Llano scrimmage, expect a surprise in my post-game report. :)

Since Waco Connally is in our district, 17AAA, I know without a doubt they are always tough at home. They are having to replinish in the trenches and at quarterback, but have a running back that is gone if he gets open. I have my fingers crossed the L.H. Panthers will open with a win over the Cadets.

I would have to give the Cadets the advantage being at home. One of the CC coaches told me that they had a ace kicker. Could be a factor in a close game. Good Luck to all the boys.

They'll be even more mature after this week, if the Cadet Linebackers are as good as I hear they are.;)

I'll admit that I signed on as a "surrogate fan" of the Cadets for this week, but I'm honestly excited about this game!!!
