Question About Caldwell Frosh

How did they do against Giddings? I've been reading good stuff about them. Did they win big?

I didn't pay that close of attention last night but to answer your question -- yes the freshman won. The last time I stopped to look at the score it was 22-7 in the 4th -- but a friend said she thought Giddings had scored one more time.

And in case you're wondering, the JV game ended in a tie 0-0.

The Caldwell Freshman are very good. they are 5-0 and have beat 3 freshman teams and 2 JV teams from Smithville and Hearne. Hearne's JV had not lost yet. There are really no athletes in that class that just stand out, but they seem to play well together as a team and they never quit. I expect to see great things from them in the next few years.

Carthage Freshman are 5-0 they have beat Kilgore 28-22, Henderson 24-8, Paris 40-8, Dibol 44-0, and LE 46-28.
