Wimberley/Manor scrimmage

Wimberley destroyed 4a Manor this morning scoring 7 td's in the 65 play and 2 td's in the live quarter and one td an overtime simulation. Manor could only muster up 1 td against the 2nd string at the end of the 65 plays. Wimberley did this in spite of missing starters RB Michael Buse WR Richard Samuel and WR Caril Roberts who were recovering from illness. QB Ricky Beaty looked sharp scoing three times on runs and 2 passing and utility back Todd Gold had two rushing and two receiving tds. For missing three starters the offense never missed a beat, scoring and putting drives together every time they got the ball. The D shut down Manors running game and only gave up one significant run for 25 yds.
