The Alcohol-related Problem

For every 1 legally drunk driver, there are at least 30 drivers with lower alcohol intoxication levels out on the road.

Someone is killed in an alcohol related traffic crash every 23 minutes.

1 out of every 2 people alive today will be in an alcohol related car crash during their lifetime.

The amount you will have to pay if you are convicted of a DWI usually exceeds $5,000.

You are on Section 2, Page 8 of 19
You will have to take a mandatory 15:00 break in approximately 1:00:01

1. Speed Unsafe

The higher the travel speed, the greater the risk of serious injury or death in a crash. The laws of physics tell us that crash severity increases disproportionately with vehicle speed. A frontal impact at 35 mph, for example, is one-third more violent than one at 30 mph.

You are on Section 2, Page 11 of 19
You will have to take a mandatory 15:00 break in approximately 57:58

and I have now learned that:

a) the amount of people driving with a BAC above .08 is at it's highest between 9PM and 4AM (obviously) and even higher on weekends and holidays.!
b) Police reports indicate that the number of drivers that are speeding and/or running red lights is higher during peak travel times.

I wonder why???

And common sense says "Go the speed limit". :D (You'd best pay attention to that monotone voice instead of posting...you never know what the questions will be.)

Mature Attitude

The second attitude you can have is maturity

being cheerful and discerning
making rational decisions
keeping emotional reactions stable
being considerate of the driving environment

My boys both took TicketStop.com.

If you drive 42 mph instead of 35 mph for six hours you will get to that particular spot in the road One Hour and Twelve minutes faster, and One Hundred and Thirty Three dollars poorer. Something to think about next time you get in a hurry. Subtract the time it took to get the ticket, and you probably save closer to forty five minutes. Consider the fact that you were probably making a six minute trip and you probably lost time.
