I hope Tropical storm Ernesto is nothing but a pest-o. Some models have said middle Texas coast (CC I suppose). Others from Brownsville to Pensacola. Thats real safe.

Sorry guys. We got a direct hit from Rita less than a year ago, so Orange and Beaumont have filled our quotas for the year. It's gonna have to go elsewhere.

Beware of the storm models. A cluster of them show a tendancy toward E. Louisiana to Fla. panhandle. Too many variables this far out to get into any particular mindset. Rita whacked us pretty bad so we are wary if a big bunch of thunderstorms pop up south of Sabine Pass.

Heard there is a run on gas cans in Orange.

If that track holds true then I will just go lash myself to the top of Dan Ray Hooks Stadium in West Orange and ride it out. We hauled it out of here during Rita and are glad we did.

Modelling storms is very technical and is an inexact science. New Orleans could be finished off if this bad boy hits there. The Golden Triangle area would be set back to a great extent. Still so many blue roofs around here you wouldn't believe.

I bet the Sinton Cuero game is history again. That would really stink for the kids (Sinton and Cuero), they have been looking forward to this game since Rita last year

Unless the storm crosses the Yucatan, there is little chance it will hit south Texas.

Holding my breath but it looks a bit better (this far out) for Texas. Watch Ernie close as we know these things get moved around quickly.
