I think they expect it to weaken and disappear but this is not 100% certain. If not could this cancel another football game between Cuero and Sinton? If so they may want to consider scheduling someone else since this would make it two in a roll.

I hope this storm hits a little south of Corpus but only has enough steam to travel as far as Abilene and dump about 5 inches of rain over a 3 day period with no damage to anyone anywhere. We just flat out need the rain. Our weather people are saying it has to hit south of corpus for us to have a chance.

It looks like it is coming up the shute so if it continues that path then it will probably hit somewhere in Texas.

Here we go again. We sure do need the rain, but not all the damage.:(

good thing it has dropped down the past few weeks. This would be a double whammy on gas prices with Labor Day w/e coming up ALONG with a potential storm in the Gulf. I sure am glad I bought tickets to the Tech/SMU game for next Saturday and get to make the 700 mile roundtrip drive!

I saw $2.60 up here in Dallas and meant to fill up yesterday...but I stopped at a pump where I work that was $2.78 to put in a gallon...the thing was filling up VERY fast and was at 3.5 gallons before I even realized it. Very frustrating indeed! Then I drove by that same place today and it was 2.65. Oh well, I may just fill up daily while gas prices are below the $2.78 that is in my tank so that I can at least save a few $$ before prices spike next week.
