Bellville wins 44-12 over 4A Santa Fe. Bellville's defense forced 3 fumbles in the first 5 plays. Bellville's #1 offense scored 7 TD's, including a 70 yard run from B. Harris. Bellville's starting RB's had a big night running the ball and the passing game was also quite effective. There was some nice catches by the receivers and tight ends. Sante Fe scored 1 TD on the #1 defense and another on the 3rd team defense.
I guess we won't hear any comments from XMan, but Bellville looked like a completely different team than the one that played Brenham. Santa Fe doesn't hold a candle to Brenham, but getting last year's district MVP back on the field made a huge difference. Watching him play this year will be well worth the price of admission!
