i was gone this weekend, but when i got home, i was shocked to learn, Gilmer had an estimated 2500 fans attending their first scrimmage. to me that is incredible. the fan base is absolutely unbelievable.

i think he's trying to say 4000-5000 but I'll have to call that one a negative. Cameron only has just over 5000 people. Hard to say all of them go to the game on Fridays. There's alot that do but I would say no more than 2000 tops during regular season. For big games (mainly rockdale) there have been reports in the past of close to 10000 but even that seems hard to believe cuz that's the total pop of each town. Playoff games are another story though.....

Well it can be more than 10,000 at a Rockdale/Cameron game, because people that no longer live in Rockdale or Cameron come back to attend the game. There is also a large rural area that is not calculated into the population of either city, as well as people that just want to come watch a good game. I have seen there be more than 15000 at a game between Rockdale and Cameron.

Yeah, those games are a lot of fun to play in and are very intense, I just feel sorry for the people who have to clean up all the trash after one of those games.

Yah, Cuero almost filled up the home side for their first scrimmage which seats around 3500 if you include the student section bleachers on the side... quite a few people this week as well

Austin LBJ brought some folks too...

This is LBJ's second O against our second D last week:
