Jermaine Dye has been going insane lately(.325 avg, 37 HR, 99 RBI this season). he should win it since he's leading a team to the playoffs and big papi and the red sox are gonna be sitting at home during the playoffs.

No argument from me.

Dye has had a great season for sure, but I don't think he'll be the MVP...and careful about "leading a team into the playoffs"...Minnesota and Boston still have a lot to say about that.

If I were to predict how the MVP voting will turn out here's what I'd expect:

1. Derek Jeter
2. David Ortiz
3. Jermaine Dye

That's not how I'd vote if I had a vote, but I bet that's how it turns out.

:flaming: I traded Morneau on my fantasy team for Carlos Lee...hasn't that deal turned out nice since Lee has all of two home runs in a Rangers uni :dispntd:

Other guys that deserve some attention are Jim Thome, Vladmir Guererro, and Manny.

I think the NL race comes down to Pujols, Beltran, and David Wright.
