Where are the visitor's stands???

havent been visitors stands there ever. They used to roll some temporary ones out but they stopped doing that a while back.

I emailed the PResident of the University one day asking and he actually wrote me back pretty fast and said they couldn't justify the cost of adding visitor side bleachers until they were able to fill the one side they have now.

one teams fans usually sit 50 yard line out and the other set of fans sit at the 50 out the other way. makes for some interesting "debates" in the stands!

i've been to games where there was only one stand before, and this was a big big game.......its not as uncommon as you think

I've seen teh A&M-Commerce stadium full twice. My junior year we (forney) played Commerce there for a predistrict game. It was full that year. Also, when DaBryan Blanton was a senior they played COmmerce in a district game there and it was full that year too!

I hated that stadium. I hated running track there for Regionals.

The Field House where we played Regionals for Basketball is crappy, yet pretty cool.

the gym is unique. At one time it was the largest basketball court in Texas. Looks like an airplane hanger but it never was one

i was there both of those games - fun times!

We used to fill it up in the early 70's when ETSU won the NAIA National Championship, and before that when we had Dwight White and then Harvey Martin.

The Lone Star Conf. played some good ball back then and sent some good players to the NFL.:inlove:
