Talked to his Grandfather yesterday. He told me Chase has already agreed to go to the Dominican League for Winter Ball. Was named Pitcher of the Month in July for the Florida League.

I've been wondering the same Adidas. So I asked his Grandpa if he knew. He told me the team Chase was on was in first and that the Double A club stunk. Said the Yankees wanted to win the Florida League and were holding him down. He also said that the pitching coach that Chase has responded best to in the organization is based there in Tampa. The Yanks have several teams in the area between Rookie ball and long A plus that is where they send the big leaguers for rehab assignments so they have a solid medical staff available as well. This is Chase's first pro season without elbow troubles. He had it surgically repaired prior to the '05 season. He really started getting healthy around the middle of July last year and has been throwing the ball very well since then.
