1) Willie Taveras' hitting streak at 26 games
2) Luke Scott's run at .400 (46-115) and a possible Rookie of the Year
3) Craig Biggio's pursuit of 3000 (currently @ 2907)
4) Roger Clemens is still amazing much of the time
5) Lance Berkman (34 HRs, 103 RBIs, .310 Avg)

and.....

6) 6 games out of the wild card race with 35 games to go. Not likely, but achievable.

i think its hilarious that brad lidge was mad about being involved in so many trade rumors.

8)To see how many more games lidge will blow to get back at the astros front office for being jerks

thats hardly a run at 400 when you only have 115 abs this late in the season

yeah but his rookie of the year candidacy is very legit

It wouldn't be official or anything because of the low number of at bats but it would be exciting if he was still there around Sept 15.

I think he's in the running, but I would have to give the award to Prince Fielder from Milwaukee. He's been on the club all year.

Last year Willy T should have won, but he got screwed over by Ryan Howard. No love for Houston.

I would rather not watch baseball at all.

Right now Scott is just starting to turn some heads. While batting .400 w/ 115 at bats is nowhere near Ted Williams & company and their accomplisment of that feat over the whole season, finishing the season at .400 with 200+ at bats would have people talking. I think he would have to do something like that to actually have a chance to get RoY.

But as you mentioned, Willie Taveras seemed a lock-in last year until Ryan Howard had a very strong finish.

i love the stros but i think this last 18 inning loss was the beging of the end for them
