You might call me crazy, but I think Burnet and Bandera could both be state champions this year from 25-3A. Burnet is returning their big three on offense, but being from Bandera, I gotta let you know what they have coming back. They have their field general back in QB Brett Hicks, who was Offensive MVP and a future D-1 prospect. They have 2 starters from the line back. First team runningback returns along with both receivers. First team kicker/punter returns as well. They also have about 4-5 starters back on defense. They should get 1st or 2nd in that district, Burnet/Bandera will be a classic.
